Description

Here’s a fairly decent original copy of Prestige 7061, Mobley’s Message, featuring Jackie McLean, Donald Byrd, Barry Harris, Doug Watkins and Art Taylor. Cover grades VG+ with seam wear, rounded corners, a bit of discoloration at the top right corner, and a bit of fraying on the spine. Back cover has slight browning and the original owner’s name and date of acquisition in small ball-point pen at top left corner. Disc grades strong VG+, and is considerably nicer than the cover. Each side has 4 or 5 long light marks but these do not sound. There is one short mark on the first track of side one that looks somewhat worse, but is not feelable. The disc has nice gloss, deep groove on both sides and original 50th Street address. This is by no means a perfect copy, but it’s a very respectable player copy of a rare and very good LP. US shipping is $7 priority mail, plus optional insurance.  Overseas airmail shipping is $12 to Europe or $14 to Asia.  All overseas buyers must use Paypal.  I also prefer Paypal for domestic bidders, but other methods work, too. Thanks for looking, and please email any questions -- Paul
