Up for auction is a  copy of Hank Mobley's Blue Note 1568 LP. The photo has a glare due to the plastic sleeve but the cover is Pristine! I have a few Mobley albums, and it's time for this one to go. I WILL OFFER THIS LP ONCE AND "ONLY" ONCE ON EBAY!!! so bid with confidence.  Do not ask me to reveal the reserve or end auction early. I will NOT do so. Once this  auction has ended, I will not list again. I'll sell it at a convention in before I relist again. You can thank Ebay and Paypal's high fees for this. Also, please do not ask me to sell you any other Hank Mobley albums. this is the only one I'm selling right now. Others may be listed in the near future so keep me marked in your favorites.

***I got an email saying a few things about this LP. I went ahead and opened it up to view it. I see NO signs of a re-issue on this LP regardless of what the person said. I am adding two more pics of the label. In the black center the following numbers are etched. Side A: BN-LP-1568-A and  Side B is: BN-LP-1568-B. The addresses are different as well. Side one has: Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd-NYC and Side two has: Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd- New York 23 (with New York spelled out). The emailer told me this is a re-issue but I see no evidence of that. The place I bought it from said Original. From what I was told, the re-issues have an "R" on them, and there is NO "R" to be found. I asked around and sent emails and pictures trying to get this verified. Here's a response on the record and I think I understand what this person is trying to say. Judging by the amount of people sitting on this thing and watching it, I think  this person is right. :

Dear Seller -- Based on the close up photos, it's quite obvious that you're listing an ORIGINAL DOUBLE SIDED DEEP GROOVED version of this LP, so don't let potential bidders fool you, in giving it away, off listing, for pennies. In fact, you do have a PRECIOUS GEM, and it certainly will fetch for over ***** on eBay. About two weeks ago, a similar LP, that's in NEAR MINT codition, as well as a great jacket, without the registration R, on labels, has been sold, here on eBay, for over *****. Yours seem to be even better, considering you only opened it up, just for verification. Also, keep in mind that ONLY about 500 of those, double sided deep grooved, with the New York 23 addresses, on sides TWO, were pressed on the FIRST PRESSING RUN, and they're even more sought after. The others were later pressed, and they do NOT have the New York 23 addresses on sides Two. I'm definitely watching your auctioin, just to see how much it will go for. I wish to remain anonymous.
