Description
From my own personal autograph collection I am extremely pleased to offer for sale this ultra rare hand-signed Dusty Springfield autograph mint 6"x4" mint white index card.
Miss Springfield reached legendary status after a string of hits on both sides of the Atlantic back in the 60's. Sadly, Miss Springfield died in 1999, the very day she was to collect her OBE from the Queen. She was only 59. In the years leading up to her untimely death, Miss Springfield led a reclusive life and seldom ventured in to the public eye.
It gave me enormous pleasure when I met with the late Miss Springfield in the early nineties when she attended a concert at the Astoria in Charing Cross Road, London. She found it no trouble at all to autograph several items for me, which included this white index card, which I had inscribed to my son Simon.
On this album page, Miss Springfield has beautifully inscribed "To Simon With Love Dusty Springfield x". Truly stunning !!! If you wish, it would be no problem at all to cut out the "To Simon" inscription and it would not detract from the presentation of the piece.
Very seldom do "Authentic" Dusty Springfield autographs come on the open market. So if you are a serious fan or a collector of rare and sought-after music memorabilia, then this stunning autograph would make a great addition. This autograph would look fabulous mounted and framed with a photo of Dusty or one of her records.
Please take the time to view my other rare autograph listings.
I have reluctantly decided to part with my collection and have a couple of thousand autographs to sell, which I collected IN-PERSON over a six-year period. I have signed photos, records, books and autograph albums. I can guarentee all my autographs to be 100% genuine. PLEASE CHECK MY FEEDBACK.
If you are looking for an autograph, please get in touch as I may have it. Or if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
As methods of payments I prefer personal cheque, cash, postal order. If you feel you would like to pay by PayPal please get in touch with me before hand.
Postage and Packing will be extra.
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING
