Description
This is Contemporary Records S7546, Hampton Hawes All Night Sessions Volume 2, a deep groove, black label, original stereo issue of this great record. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a strong VG+) showing light marks on both sides but still playing quietly (hence the extra(+). The original mono cover has some light ring wear and some loss on the open back end but is intact. There seems to be an autograph on the back cover with the first initials of MB. Since there is no one on the date with those initials I am not sure who this might be. Since it is in cursive and written on the notes, I am pretty sure it is not the owner tagging his (or her) property. This is a mystery for the next owner. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included as well. This is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
