This is the half speed master of this 1969 album done by CBS for their Mastersound series in 1981. It has been in the collection of a serious audiophile collector it's entire life. The disc was in the original acid free, plastic lined inner sleeve and the cover was housed in the original vinyl slip cover. The playing surfaces are near mint as are the labels. The cover is near mint. Play tested with an Ortofon 2m red mm cartridge on a Uturn Orbit through a Denon receiver with Klipsch r820f floor standing towers. No perceptible surface noise and zero pops, skips, tics or hiss. A very beautiful and powerful recording with Boulez conducting the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. Won a grammy in 1970 for best classical performance: orchestra. See pics for details.
