HUSKER DU Zen Arcade UNIQUE RADIO ONLY Promo LP KBD
Etched B-side w/single track & LP trax on A-side UNIQUE and ORIGINAL, OUT OF PRINT 8-song RADIO PROMO ONLY 12" vinyl LP as issued by SST Records back in 1984. There were ONLY 500 of these pressed and which were exclusively issued to Radio Stations ONLY. A-side featuring 7 songs from the then upcoming ZEN ARCADE double LP set and the B-side contains the song "8 Miles High" (which does not appear on "Zen Arcade"--never has) with the surplus of vinyl after the track being taken up with an etching of the band's tri-band logo (see right hand side of inner label from picture two for an idea of what the logo). This was not a retail release and the only way you could get one is if you were an actual college radio station. I got this at an estate sale. Apparently the original property of WYRE FM out of Waukasha, Wisconsin.

If you look closely at the first picture you'll also notice this was autographed by drummer Grant Hart.

Come in plain white DJ sleeve with record label sticker affixed, autograph with comment, song titles and other stuff written on the sleeve signifying the station's ownership of the piece along with admonishing stickers they applied saying that anyone trying to steal this from the building will set off an alarm...

As I said, this is VERY RARE. (And apologies for the wobbly, out of focus Picture #1)
