Description

Here's one of the great 78 rpm records released in the early 50s by RPM Records featuring the powerful blues legend Chester Burnett better known as Howlin' Wolf. It appears someone or maybe an entire country or two worth of people agreed and played this piece of shellac many, many, many times. The flash pics show all the wear (looks much better in normal light), but there are no cracks, and both sides play through without any skips. If a way can be found, I'm happy to supply recordings of the actual disc. The actual title of the B-side is of course "Moaning At Midnight", but it's shown as "Morning" on the record to keep the sensitive from too much heavy fanning. This should suffice in someone's collection until the last untouched, pristine example rises to the surface. The fragile treasure will be shipped safe, insured, secure and not via Media Mail, which takes a small eternity for no good reason.
