Description

Up for consideration is an original, rare NM-/EX+ copy of "THE REAL FOLK BLUES" by HOWLIN WOLF which was pressed 1965 on the split blue colored CHESS LABEL.  This rare original MONO copy is very rarely found ( and sold ) in decent  condition! It's shiny vinyl shows a lot of light scuffing in some areas and a few light lines when being scrutinized under a bright light. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE LPS WHICH SOUNDS MUCH BETTER THAN THE VISUAL GRADE THAT I CAN GIVE IT! It promotes just a small amount of background noise in a few areas. It is very enjoyable to listen to. The front laminated cover is also very shiny and displays beautifully showing very little wear except for the bottom right corner. With the exception of some "grime wear" against part of it's white background, the back cover also exhibits a nice appearance. It also displays some very nice non worn seams on all three sides!  Both LABELS show very little wear and look close to pristine condition. ORIGINAL HOWLIN WOLF LPS are getting very scarce and this would certainly be a keeper in one"s BLUES COLLECTION.
