Up for bids is a great rare Chicago Blues 45 by Howlin' Wolf called "My Life". Chess Records. 1648. 1957.
SIDE A: "My Life" SIDE B: "Going Back Home"
RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1957!
Record is pressed on styrene.
NOTE: The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG to VG+. Record is pretty clean looking. Labels have some minor checking (typical of Chess back then). Side B has a couple of deep scratches that cause a click but only for a few revolutions each. Side B also has a scuff mark only audible when song is fading out. Both sides play with some minor distortion but that gets lost in the music! Still sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Howlin' Wolf or Chess Records fan!
