Superb British 1967 Decca reissue of the technical special effects album 'How To Give Yourself A Stereo Check-Out’ (1967), featuring interesting narration and test tracks interspersed with musical interludes.
A useful test record for checking and correcting vinyl playback, including testing for wow and flutter, and anti-skating etc.
Narrated by Elizabeth Knight and Jack De Manio and including the London Symphony and Ronnie Aldrich.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: VG. Clean on visual inspection. A few marks, scuffs and very superficial hairlines on both sides but nothing major – and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good. Some mild surface noise at run-ins and light static during quieter sequences and narration. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listening experience and useful test record.
Outer Sleeve/Cover: G-VG. Colours are unfaded and clean. Laminated front cover. Curved creases mainly across towards bottom right corner. A few creases in from edges. Delamination bubble on top left. Some scuffs and dents near spine. Edges clean and on marked and spine in great shape apart from one small split. Corners mildly worn. Aperture slightly bowed and dogeared. Back of cover has slight discolouration, a few marks and darkening, but all text readable and clean.
Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. White poly-lined paper with centre hole and square corners. Blue printed text both sides. Folding but clean and intact.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
