Sorry I've been away for a while, but I've been working flat out on our house for the last 5 months or so, so I've had to take a break from ebaying and concentrate on weekend fairs!
My listings will include rare and not so rare but as vinyl is in such demand these days I'll be covering the whole spectrum. All records have been played through at least once (in order to give a true grading) on my REGA P1 turntable (which sounds superb!) , which I bought from my Leeds stockist, Audio Republic, details of which will be mailed out with the vinyl. I've got a huge stock of records at the moment so if there is anything you are after drop me an email or I can be seen on the Record Fair circuit!...next one is at the RAMADA HOTEL, BINGLEY on SUNDAY 23RD NOVEMBER !! .if you love vinyl and don't attend fairs, shame on you!!!! The fairs currently on offer are superb and are far more pleasurable experience than sitting at home, trawling the internet for those shabby so called mint records. Rest assured, MINT means MINT (no marks/no scratches/no spindle marks/faultless vinyl/faultless sleeve). I'll be continually listing some great stuff so keep an eye out.
This was part of a collection purchased recently from the wife of the late owner.....she said it was pride of place in her husbands collection and John Peel sent it to him personally....he had even kept the original mailer it came in...post marked 24.10.79 at a cost of 33p !! .......HORACE ANDY "In the light dub" JAMAICAN HUNGRY TOWN.....10 track classic!!!!!!!! SLEEVE
The sleeve is plain white card with IN THE LIGHT DUB written on it....written by JOHN PEEL !?....the sleeve does have light discolouration spots !
INNER SLEEVE
The white paper inner sleeve grades Very Good+++
VINYL
In usual Jamaican style the record has only a couple of light marks/scratches and only a few light sleeve removal marks/scuffs when viewed at an angle under a bright light !!! The record plays superb with a little background noise/ no hiss/ no distortion/ no skips/ no jumps/ no pops and only a little crackle towards the end of both sides, but still sounds awesome !!!!!! The vinyl grades Very Good++
LABELS
The labels grade Excellent++ with a few visible spindle marks on either side!!!!
