Description

Rare vintage 12-inch shellac record featuring sacred choral masterpieces 'Benedictus' and 'Tu Es Petrus' performed by the renowned Sistine Choir. This authentic His Master's Voice (HMV) pressing with the iconic red label and Nipper dog logo represents a magnificent piece of classical and religious music history from the golden age of 78 RPM recordings.

This exceptional recording features:

  • Authentic HMV red label pressing with classic gramophone and dog logo
  • Sacred Latin choral works performed by the prestigious Sistine Choir
  • 12-inch shellac format providing superior sound quality for the era
  • Catalog number D.B. 1569 identifying this as a premium classical series release
  • Traditional 78 RPM speed standard for vintage gramophone playback

The record displays age-consistent surface wear and minor scratches typical of vintage shellac pressings, but remains in good playable condition.
