Description
1st Edition of this 1958 His Master's Voice release with white/gold labels.
Gradings (Sleeve/Disc):
Record collector = VG/VG
Discogs = VG+/VG+
Condition:
Sleeve is Very Good condition. No marks or pen etc but there is a 1 inch split at the top the spine as can be seen on the photos above. The photos show it very accurately. Original 'Oustanding Artists' inner sleeve also present and in Excellent condition.
The LP is beautifully glossy with no damage or marks to the labels. There are multiple hairline/spindle marks on the playing surface on both sides that can be seen under bright light, but no scratches that cause skips or jumps. Record has been played through on a high end system. The marks mentioned don't significantly affect the sound or distract from the listening experience. One very fine line runs across the quiet section of the famous Hall of the Mountain King for example and it genuinely cannot be heard. I'm probably being a bit over cautious but just want the buyer to know what to expect. The photos show how good the overall condition is. Only a light background crackle in the silent grooves when you turn the volume up high. The sound quality is amazing, a full rich, clear and 3D sound.
Disc has been placed in a Spincare protective audiophile vinyl archive inner sleeve (3 layers of antistatic, antiscratch, antidust HDPE plastic and a layer of rice paper) to keep it protected.
UK postage in a mutilayer LP mailer at cost stated. For overseas postage please contact me before bidding to get a quote.
