I bought this copy way back in the 1980's BRAND NEW from a shop that had it as brand new old stock. 
Sadly those days are gone and I wish I'd had bought more records back then!
Key points

  • The poster is included and it is the original poster that came with the record. NOT A MODERN COPY
  • The records are in their original poly lined sleeves as supplied when new
  • The record matrix numbers are DNLD 4 001-A * T and subsequent sides being the same prefix with 001-B * T,  001-C * T and 001-D * T
  • The record was bought by myself brand new so is graded EXCELLENT for covers, poster and the records themselves.  I would never ever grade a record MINT unless it has never been played

I am the only owner from new and I always look after my records.  I have been a record collector all my life and I am now 55.  I am selling most of my Donovan collection and various other records that I don't play any more.
It has only ever been played on a Linn Sondek LP12 record player and it plays what I consider to be absolutely fine with no issues.

If you are familiar with HMS Donovan,  you will know that his is a record that has very low recording levels in places and will show up the slightest defect. I hear no such defects and never have. I don't have the time to micro analyse every single second of play and make pages of notes. All I can say is that it plays like I would expect a brand new record to play in 1971.
I have to state the following but most of you will know this already and won't need to hear it.  However....
To those new to vinyl - even brand new records had marks or the odd bit of surface noise here or there.  They were packed by hand in a factory.  If you are after the complete and utter silence of a CD or digital copy, please buy a CD or digital copy. Everyones players will have a different representation depending on how worn your stylus is and what player/cartridge you are using etc.

I will clean it on a Pro Ject record cleaning machine before it is sold and I am sure you'll be very happy.  If not, get in touch and let me know.
