Hip Hop Culture – S/T – Perfection Records – Ultra Rare North Carolina Random Rap LP – Listen! – No Reserve
Impossibly rare and seldom seen full length indie rap LP from the group Hip Hop Culture from the Raleigh-Durham area in North Carolina. This was released in very limited quantities on Perfection Records in 1990 and issued without a jacket. Not sure what the pressing run was but I would guess 300 or less. I found a test pressing issue on Disc Makers which sold for over $700 three years ago. This is the only copy of the LP I’ve encountered since. Excellent sample-based hip hop from ‘89/’90. The group broke up shortly after this release and unfortunately the album went nowhere. Grading is on the following scale: M (sealed) /M-/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G/etc. I do not use E+/E/E- grading and grade all my records conservatively. Feel free to check my feedback for proof of customer satisfaction.
Buyer pays all shipping and handling charges. Shipping in the US generally runs $4.25 media mail w/ tracking for up to 2 records. 3 to 5 Records runs $5 with tracking. Priority mail quoted at cost.
