Robert Margouleff and Malcolm Cecil - TONTO'S EXPANDING HEAD BAND (re-issue of ZERO TIME) - Atlantic (Red/Green Label) SD-18123 - AMAZING!



If you are unfamiliar, Margouleff and Cecil worked with Robert Moog in creating the synthesizer.

In fact, when they all parted, it is interesting to note, Robert Moog went on to pursue the Mini-Moog, while these two mad-dogs took the Moog and gloriously built it out to an instrument the size of the grandest organ (just as temperamental, too, requiring constant adjustment).

Anyway, this classic album, absolutely changed the face of electronic music, and changed a few musical minds.

On record sides called, "Outside," then, "Inside," I bet you marvel, as did I, at the concoctions presented, some with voice, some, without question, at a sub-atomic level, somewhere in the musical ozone.

An historic disc, that will never fail to astound, this edition's cover like new (with a slice), with a record within that should play NM- to VG+, with only rubber mat scuffs in evidence.

A marvel of music, totally electronic.
