UK ORIGINAL 1970 .
This is an original 1970 UK First Pressing and not a later re issue. As you can see it comes in a gate fold textured sleeve typical of this era, and I must say they just dont make LP sleeves like this any more. The sleeve has a few small creases and some discoloring mainly to the back of the jacket. I still think it looks pretty good considdering its 47 years old ! There is a minor flaw about an inch long and 4 mm wide (top right front corner) but even thats not too bad. The inside of the gate fold looks really well and there is no unwanted handwriting anywhere on the item. The spine is in great condition and all the spinal writings can be read clearly. The record labels are both really clean (double click the pictures) and show a minimal amount of spindle ware. There are a few wispy hairlines on both sides of the vinyl but it plays very well with no jumps or skips or sticking.There is a minimal amount of background noise if you listen really hard but nothing to spoil the listeners enjoyment . All the DAWN records are fast becoming collectable due to their sheer rarety . One day this label will rival the great Spiral Vertigo label because just like on the Vertigo label DAWN had some fantastic unknown artists . And this Psych Folk group HERON are no different. A rare opportunity to grab a fast becoming highly prized LP.
