If you're a collector of rare 45 rpm picture sleeves, or a Herman's Hermits collector, then you know the significance of this item! This auction is for a picture sleeve only (no record) of the rarest of all Herman's Hermits pic sleeves, the promo sleeve that was released with some (but not all) of the "Hold On" 45 rpm promo releases (MGM 13500) in 1966. The sleeve itself has no record number, and has "The Mod Shirts Are Here" advertisement on the back. I obtained this from a DJ during a record swap at a radio station about 30 years ago. The sleeve is in excellent condition with nice surface gloss, clean edges and corners, no seam splits or tears. The front of the sleeve has just a hint of surface wear, with a little light ring wear on the backside. There is a couple of light creases in the lower right corner, probably from being bent at one time. There is a minimum reserve on this one, still well below catalog value. Sleeve gets a VG+ rating, a very rare promo sleeve for your collection!!.....
