Post Rock/Experimental Side 1. Now Then (part I) Side 2 - Track 1. Now Then (part II) Side 2 - Track 2. Now Then (part III) Side 2 - Track 3. Now Then (part IV)

In November 2022, four founding members of Henry Cow stepped back onto the stage, not to revisit the past but to test where instinct might lead them now. Fred Frith, Tim Hodgkinson, Chris Cutler and John Greaves reunite here under the name Henry Now, their long shared history evident in the ease with which ideas surface and dissolve. All four are UK-based musicians whose paths have remained rooted in experimentation, even as their careers have diverged. The performance unfolds across a single, hour-long improvisation, split into four movements. 'Now Then (part I)' stretches patiently, textures gathering and thinning as guitar, electronics and percussion feel for balance. Later sections tighten and loosen in turn, rhythms aligning briefly before slipping away. There are no set pieces or cues, just listening, response and motion. What emerges is music shaped by decades of trust and curiosity, alert, restless and fully present.
