Now here is a real curiosity! It has been many, MANY years since one of these popped up on Ebay! This is an original I.P.F Records pressing from 1970 or '71, one of the earliest Beatles' bootlegs.
Side one features the famous WBCN acetate of the never-issued Get Back album. HOWEVER, side two features 6 rare songs by none other than JIMI HENDRIX, That's right: Beatles on one side, Hendrix on the other. HOLY SMOKES! There is a long, slow blues that sounds like Catfish Blues, some alternate mixes of songs from Are You Experienced, and a live Hey Joe that sounds like the 1968 arrangement the Experience played. Wow! Too cool!!
Cover: G. Very flimsy cardboard cover with tape, water damage and even some mold under the taped-on shrink.
Vinyl: VG. The labels were blank white but there is handwriting.
Records are visually graded under bright light using Goldmine standards.
I grade conservatively and will mention any flaws to the cover or vinyl.
All used records have been cleaned using a VPI record cleaning vacuum and are ready for your turntable.
I'm auctioning off a nice collection of Beatles' "fan club" vinyl LPs. I am the original owner of all these records. I bought them new in the mid-1980s. Back then, before YouTube, before the Anthology CDs even!, if you wanted to hear these rare, alternate takes and demos, you had to hunt around in Greenwich Village record shops. All these records were purchased on such hunting trips. What fun it was! I hope these records go to Beatles fans who will love them as much as I have. :)
