Description
An absolute classic!
I'm sure I don't need to describe the incredible music, so I'll stick to the all-important details.
Both Lee Perry websites agree that this is most probably the earliest version of this record. See

The mix is very different from the later version. Often it simply sounds rougher and sparser, but there are also a few great touches which are missing from later versions. My favourite ever Black Ark moment is the part in "The Wrong Thing" where the music drops away and the word "Fire" seems to hang in empty space. Sublime!
The pressing isn't perfect. There are a few clicks and occasional soft crackling, but nothing serious.
There are no signs of wear or careless handling, as I bought it new in the seventies, and have taken great care of it since.
The cover is in amazing shape - no creases, marks, splits, or tears. If you look closely, you can detect the slightest hint of shelf wear, but otherwise simply perfect.
Both labels are clean (no writing or marks).
