Click Image to Enlarge . . DESCRIPTION I'm offering the album from the rock band Heart titled "Bébé le Strange". A test pressing frp, Columbia Records, Terre Haute, IN. In stereo. Length: 37:30, 10 songs. In an all white cardboard jacket with a folded light cardboard covering glued to it. Sleeve is all white. Madrix reads KENDUN JG, STRANGE EUPHORIA, T PBL-36371. (JG for John Golden at Burbank's Kendun Recorders.) ©1980. Released by CBS's Epic Records. I've owned this record since it came out and have played it no more than five times including today to check its condition. Condition is good, no skips, no pops, no crackling, scuff marks, or scratches. This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Often times duplicates. Jacket is in good condition but notice a light stain on the front top right and back top left. Sleeve is in very good condition. I'm including a brief bio printed on an 8½"x11 sheet of paper. ABOUT THE BAND Heart is an American rock band formed in 1970 in Seattle, Washington by Steve Fossen (bass guitar), Roger Fisher (guitar), David Belzer (keyboards), and Jeff Johnson (drums). It evolved from an existing band, White Heart. The vocalists for Heart are sisters Ann Wilson (lead vocals, flute, guitar) and Nancy Wilson (vocals, guitar, mandolin).
"Little Queen" was their third studio album, released in May 1977 by Portrait Records. The album was recorded and mixed at Kaye-Smith Studios in Seattle, Washington, from February to April 1977. "Little Queen" became Heart's second million-seller and eventually earned a triple platinum certification. ©Wikipedia . . ABOUT THE ALBUM "Bébé le Strange" was their fifth studio album, released on February 14, 1980, by Epic Records. It was the first album without founding member Roger Fisher on lead guitar, who had left the band months prior along with his brother Michael. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number five on the US Billboard 200 and spending 22 weeks on the chart. On May 5, 1980, it was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). "Bébé le Strange" spawned the singles "Even It Up" (backed by the Tower of Power horn section), "Raised on You", and the title track. Some of the backing vocals were provided by Don Wilhelm, who had been in a group called The Army. ©Wikipedia . .
