Description

HAZE s/t LP HAZE 00174 UK 1974 Female acid folk psych PRIVATE PRESS 99 copies

Hi Ebay Enthusiasts,

This record is part of an amazing selection of vinyl which I have inherited. The music spans from 50's - 90's including rockabilly, country, classical, rock'n'roll, blues, rock, jazz, funk, soul/northern soul, reggae, ska and afrobeat, hip hop and r&b... which I will be listing over the next few months. There are lots of rarities, although there are some reproductions of hard to find records. I am not a connoisseur neither do I claim to be an expert. I am just a music lover who appreciates good music. I will be grading by visual inspection and listening to the record. If you have any questions concerning a particular record feel free to contact me. I will try, as best I can, to give an accurate and honest description. If you feel my description has been inaccurate, please contact me first before leaving negative feedback..so we can resolve the issue speedily.

I endeavour to entertain customer satisfaction, should a problem arise with your item please contact me immediately by e-mail. A full refund is available on return of the item within 7 days of receipt.

Right enough of that......up for sale is:

Artist: Haze

Title: Haze

Format: 12" (Vinyl 33) LP

Country: UK

Label: Haze Records - HAZE 00174

Year: 1974

Description: Original issue not re-issue.

Condition (Disc/Sleeve): EX/VG+       Record in superb condition - judging from spindle marks, only played a few times. Vinyl has full gloss sheen, with a few ultra-light non-feelable scuff marks which do NOT sound at all - and this copy plays absolutely SUPERBLY. Labels are pristine. Cover shows some light general wear - it's un-laminated, so more prone to wear. There are a couple of minor creases on spine and a couple of minor indentations but really, it's very close to EX.

Comments: Collectors Item!! Ultra rare ORIGINAL UK PRIVATE PRESSING (only 99 were pressed to keep under the tax threshold at the time). The tracks range from stunning haunting acid/folk to heavy psych. Lovely fem vox from pupils from Hayes School in Kent with all band members being in their late teens, a must for any acid/folk/psych collector.THE MUSIC IS TOP NOTCH FROM THE COVER OF THE BEATLES "FOOL ON THE HILL" WITH FEM VOX AND A FOLK/PSYCH BACKING TO HEAVY FULL PSYCH LEADS ON A FEW TRACKS.ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE HEARD AND WITH ONLY A HANDFULL OF COPIES PRESSED ONE OF THE RAREST-NEVER REISSUED AND UNKOWN TO MOST COLLECTORS-THIS WILL PROB BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO GET A COPY.Some original top notch tracks and some covers done (Beatles "The Fool On The Hill" & "Eleanor Rigby" ,Paul Simon's  "Bridge Over Troubled Water",Elton John's "Candle In The Wind") in acid/folk style  with 2 original tracks in heavy psych vein. Absolutely splendid!!
A superb playing copy of an incredibly rare record, limited to 99 copies, this is very unlikely to turn up again any time soon... One of the rarest private pressings and brilliant music/tracks to go with it!!!
Doesn't come round that often....don't sleep on this one!!

GRADINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

A SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING RECORDS

Unless buying a vinyl record that  is SEALED, or in NEAR-MINT condition, there will always be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling.
If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in classical and jazz records, which have quiet passages.
You are buying vinyl LPs because they sound better than CDs, however the pops and crackling come with an LP.

VINYL GRADE

M = Never been played or used.
NM = This record appears virtuously flawless. If there is a flaw, it should be very hard to see. Very minor scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play clean with a crisp fidelity throughout, without any noise over the flaw.
EX = Minor scuffs, marks or light scratches which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few, but, it should play clean with a crisp fidelity throughout, with some minor background noise permissible.

VG =Record shows wear and has surface scuffs or light hairline marks. The vinyl still has a good luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye and may cause some surface noise.
G = Loss of lustre to vinyl. several scratches and heavy marks (deep enough to feel with fingernail) that will affect the sound and groove wear will be noticeable. Will play without  sticking or jumping but will have surface noise throughout.
F = Looks and plays bad, possibly skips. Plenty of hiss, clicks, or pops.

P = Just a collection filler, to look at.

SLEEVE GRADE

Mint (M) = No stickers ,address labels or writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits or wear to the cover. Flawless.
Near Mint (NM) = The cover appears virtuously flawless, with only very minor signs of wear and/or age.
Excellent (EX) = Artwork is clean and still close to perfect as can be. Some impression to the cover (minor ring wear) but not the ink is permissable. Light creasing is permitted,no wrinkles or bends or anything obtrusive to the eye.
VG =Artwork is clean with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.
G =Several (but not all of the following flaws may apply): Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears cuts, gouges ,masking or duct tape seam repairs or other flaws and damage. Probably only used as a collection filler until a better copy can be found.

Please note there may be a difference between grading with a (+/-) , all this means is that there is a very slight upgrade/downgrade.
