Description

HAWKWIND Roadhawks 1976 LP Gatefold sleeve with poster. An excellent compilation which is sometimes seen as the closing chapter to the band's United Artists period, it features material from 1970 to 1975 and includes some material that was otherwise hard to find at the time,
As for the record itself, the sleeve is very good/excellent condition with just one or two very small dents to a couple of the corners, the record appears to be excellent on visual inspection (I've never played it) and the poster is near mint, given it's age.

Roadhawks is a 1976 compilation album by Hawkwind coveringthe years 1970-1975, and it peaked at #45 on the UK album charts. It is thefirst compilation release from the group, marking the end of the group's tenurewith United Artists Records. The music was compiled and mixed by thegroup's Dave Brock.[2]

The tracks are mostly presented in chronologicalorder. A previously unreleased live versionof "You Shouldn't Do That" segued with an unlisted "Seeing It  AsYou Really Are" is included, recorded from the same live shows where Space Ritual was derived,[2] and is now included as a bonus track on CDre-issues of the Space Ritual album.
