Description
HAWKWIND – HAWKWIND LP. This is an original copy of Hawkwind’s debut album, released on Liberty in 1970 (LBS 83348). This is the rarer collectable version with the blue labels and is housed in a gatefold sleeve. It is in fine overall condition – the sleeve shows only a little light wear around the edges and the vinyl is still nice and glossy with only the usual and inevitable light surface sleeve lines which should not affect play. Overall, a very acceptable example of this 34 year old classic album.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – As a record collector for many years, I know only too well that, despite the various systems now used, grading remains largely subjective, everyone essentially having their own ideas as to what NM-, EX+, VG++ etc. should mean ! Instead, I try to describe each record (via a visual inspection) as honestly and accurately as I can – perhaps to the point of being overly critical, as even new records, let alone those of 30-40 year vintage, can have some marks ! If, however, your standards are even higher and you are genuinely unhappy with my assessment, a refund of the purchase price will be given upon return of the record, at buyer’s expense, in the same condition as sent. Please bear in mind that many (if not most !) vinyl records usually have at least one or two light surface marks (lines/grazing/scuffs) mainly due to their paper inner-sleeves. As these usually do not affect play at all, such slight imperfections may not necessarily be specifically mentioned in the item description. Should you require clarification/confirmation on any point which might be of importance to you, please ask before placing a bid. Whilst no extra charge is made for payments via PayPal, it would be very much appreciated if, wherever possible, payment could be made via other methods, especially by UK buyers, to help minimise costs. All albums are sent in new custom mailers with additional stiffeners/padding as necessary for secure shipment. However, as no responsibility can be accepted for items lost or damaged in transit, postal insurance is strongly recommended.
