Condition vinyl EX+++/Sleeve Near Mint
This is the Very RARE Original 1st UK Issue on the Black/Silver Liberty Label in `E.J.Day` Gatefold sleeve - matrix/run out groove LBS 83348 A-2U /LBS 83348 B-3U `porky` mother stampers 3GO/2A
Vinyl - VERY THICK Vinyl, BEAUTIFUL Condition plays SUPERB even on the quiet sections (and there are lots of them) - looks mint in normal light - its only on closer inspection under bright spotlight I can see some very light paper scuffs - GREAT Copy - comes with Factory Inner Sleeve
Labels - UNDAMAGED & CLEAN, I cant see any Spindle Lines - this LP definitely hasnt been overplayed AT ALL!!
Sleeve - LOVELY condition, Matt finish `E.J.Day` Gatefold very prone to wear, has NO edge Wear, NO Ring Wear, SHARP Opening, GREAT Spine - NO pen writing/sticker damage/tears etc - Really Nice Copy
Rarity - Absolutely Hawkwinds First LP Sold very Poorly, this initial first issue on the Black Liberty label is so hard to find in this condition (later issue on sunset label much easier to track down) - also amazing that the sleeve has been preserved so well considering it is so delicate and a Matt finish - great copy
Musically - superb prog/Space rock - Hawkwind in their embryonic experimental infancy with long workouts to blow the mind!!!
Just a note on Grading - I always play grade my records right through and unless stated they do not jump, skip or stick when played!!! I always view the vinyl under a very bright halogen spotlight!!! Why? because although I have excellent vision when viewed under a normal light or even worse a fluorescent tube (most shops have these) the vinyl will not show up how marked it truly is - some view records in daylight but this has to be done in direct sunlight to see the hidden marks - I do this so that I can give the full picture and should please even the most `critical` of collectors. Also I photograph the WHOLE of the cover (I don't cut off the corners or edge) so you can see as close as possible what you will receive!!

Postage/packing: I use new professional record mailers with several cardboard stiffeners to protect the cover - the record will be placed in a NEW clean inner sleeve, removed from the record cover (saves ringwear/pushing through seams) and together with original old inner placed in a NEW pvc outer sleeve - I also include recorded delivery as standard in the overall cost in the UK (70p) it covers up to £30 in case of loss - it will be optional for international packages (as it is more expensive) but still advisable! - please note complete postage charges (below) before bidding!
Payment - I am quite patient but if I have waited a couple of weeks for money and sent reminders unless there is a good reason I will claim back my fees and give a nonpaying bidder strike - I don't charge for Paypal!

Grading's
Mint : The record itself is brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing
VG : The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
plus + : slightly better than grade
minus - : slightly under grade
