Description
Presenting country blues legend Harmonica Frank, a.k.a. Frank Floyd, on the 78 RPM Chess label, recorded in Chicago in the early 1950s. He performs two of his own distinctive blues compositions, "Swamp Root" and "Going Away Walkin'".
These early fifties 78 RPM discs, with easily marred vinyl-like surfaces, are especially difficult to find in this shape. This record is in E- condition, with plenty of shine. There are a few very light scratches and minor scuffs. There is a light gray ring about 1/4 inch from the end of the "Swamp Root" side, but it is not audible. The record plays extremely well, with no sign of distortion, and the labels are nice and clean.
Here’s your chance to own a prime example of original rural country blues. Please be sure to look at both of my photos (below).
We are 78 RPM record collectors ourselves, and have shipped them many times. We will package this record very carefully, so it arrives in your hands in the same condition as it left ours. Bid with confidence.
Thanks for looking, and good luck!
