HARDLINE - Hardline ( Intersound/Be Double You 1984 )

Condition : Excellent: Cover And Record in Excellent condition.

Super rare original release.

A demo was recorded in Nidaros studio and resulted in a record deal with Swedish Interactive Sound. The self-titled debut album was recorded in Stockholm and published in spring 1984. The album was soon re-released on Mausoleum Records

Lead singer 'Romy Vitale' are none other than ex-Road and Bad Habitz lead singer Borge Pedersen. With artist names like 'Eddie Trazz', 'Juno' and 'Speedy Elly', as well as producers, recording studio and manager all based in Sweden, I reckon I could be forgiven for missing out on the Norwegian connection first time around, though! ...Turns out the abovementioned pseudonyms check out as Egil Troa, Svein Grostad and Odd Ellingsen incidentally - now, how's that for Valhalla, Scarecrows, Lipz and Lipservice, anyone?

Musically, Hardline is perhaps unsurprisingly a deadringer for Road, It all adds up to quite a good album in the end.
