This one is the stereo 1st. pressing of Hank Mobley's WORKOUT. Blue Note Records BST-84080. This is an original issue from Blue Note Records, not a reissue version of Classic Records or Analog Production. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with "RVG STEREO" and "EAR" stamped on the dead wax of both sides. Address on labels: "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC. NEW YORK USA". The cover is also 1st version cover with address on the back as follows: BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23. Laminated on front. Comes with an original Blue Note's inner sleeve.
Hank Mobley (tenor saxophone), Grant Green (guitar), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Philly Joe Jones (drums).
The vinyl plays NM on both sides.
The laminated cover is NM-. No split. No fading. Just small stamp on the back. The spine is intact.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
