Very rare and collectable Hank Ballard album released in 1961 on the Parlophone record label and in good to very good condition.

This is a genuine UK 1st pressing on the black and gold Parlophone record label and is very hard to find.

I try to be as honest with my grading of vinyl as possible and would never offer albums or singles that were anything less than in good condition (using the Record Collector Magazine 

Grading System as my guide – see below).  I clean (if required) and then play all the albums and singles I offer on e-bay before listing them.

Also, I supply a number of good quality photographs whenever possible. You need have no doubt what you are bidding on after checking these out.

All albums and 12" singles are sent out in card mailers with strong stiffeners.

Condition of vinyl: In good condition and plays perfectly with only a fairly minor deterioration in sound quality evident. There are a number of fairly 

minor surface marks visible but the record plays better than it looks which is usually the case with these older heavy weight vinyls.

Matrix Numbers: K12 740A-1N, K12 740B-1N

Condition of labels: In excellent condition with only very minor spindle wear evident!

Condition of cover: The front laminated flipback sleeve is in good to very good condition with only fairly minor signs of wear and discolouration evident.  

It has a minor split at the base of the sleeve but a couple of inches in. The front of the sleeve still has a bright and vibrant sheen to it with only very minor signs of creasing and discolouration evident.  The back of the cover has discoloured over the years but nothing too major for a 54 year old album!  

Extras: Comes complete with original poly lined inner sleeve in very good condition.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System:

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in 

perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint. 

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. 

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, 

scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
