HALLYDAY RTF Star Time In Paris FRENCH RADIO SHOW 10 INCH This is an original FRENCH issue of the JOHNNY HALLYDAY / SHEILA Star Time radio show record on the RTF label from 1967. It was a 10” record made for RADIO STATION PLAY ONLY by the national broadcaster Radiodiffusion -Television Francaise to be used on a show that was an English language radio presentation of the most popular French stars of the day. The record is on the green and white radio presentation label and plays at 33 RPM with the JOHNNY HALLYDAY side timed at 14 mins and 30 secs.
Side One is program No. 24 / 1967 and it was broadcast on April 17th. The music on this set seems to be taken from the officially released album titled “Olympic ‘67” (Philips 7039) released 29/3/67, but there is a presenter added on this version for radio.

For the English readers Hallyday presents a show a bit like a soul review with late sixties feel, which includes an introduction by the presenter including a brief biography of the man, followed by “In The Midnight Hour”, “Confessions (I Need Love So Much?)”, “What Is Soul (I’m Alone?), “Black is Black” with outro, then separate outro. by presenter. Produced by H. Contet and presented by Olivier Derer for ORTF.
The Side 2 program is by Sheila and is No. 25 / 1967 broadcast on April 18th. Follows a similar format with intro, 4 songs and then an outro. Most recognisable song is a version of “Bang Bang” the Sonny & Cher related song.
The record is in EXCELLENT condition with just the name of each artist added to the labels in red pen. The cover is original but it has a surface tear (see scan) and the names of the artists added in red pen. On the back are attached the original timing and presentation sheets.
