Description

This is a rare

factory sealed

half speed mastered LP

by

Tom Loncaric and his orchestra

featuring

Paul King on vocals.

The title is

"I'm Crazy 'Bout My Baby"

(TL Records HAR2377) (2002)

----------

This classic big band album was recorded in pure analog on Ampex machines with no digital recording or effects. The sessions were recorded completely live (in the studio) with a minimum of takes and no overdubs. All the musicians including the singer performed acoustically in one room. Vintage microphones by RCA and Neuman were used, and the half speed mastering was done by Stan Ricker (of MFSL fame). The 180 gram pressing was done by RTI. All of these things add up to make for a wonderful recording of fun, classic big band music.

------------

I have only seen two of these albums, and this is one of them (I'm keeping the other one!).

**************************************************** The songs are as follows:

I 'M CRAZY 'BOUT MY BABY -(FATS WALLER) --- MAMA DON'T WANT NO PEAS AN' RICE AN' COCOANUT OIL --- SHEIK OF ARABY ---- WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH LOVE -(LIL' GREEN) --- HE AIN'T GOT RHYTHM - (IRVING BERLIN) --- I GET A KICK OUT OF YOU - (COLE PORTER) --- PLEASE DON'T TALK ABOUT ME WHEN I'M GONE --- BODY AND SOUL

*********************************

It is in beautiful condition with no splits, tears or bends. There are no promo holes and the plastic bag is completely intact. The photo is of the actual item for sale.
