Description
You are bidding on an official Geffen records promo item for Appetite for Destruction. The item is a 7" Square Flexi Disc (USA) 1029221CS.
It contains: Welcome to the Jungle (sample) / Out Ta Get Me (sample) / Nightrain (sample) / Izzy and Slash interviews played over the samples. 1987
But don't judge just my word on how rare this item is, I quote below from Paul Stenning's Unauthorised Biography of Guns N' Roses "The Band That Time Forgot" 1st Edition page 211:
"The most sought after item perhaps of the whole Guns' back catalogue would be the flexi disc, which came out in 1987. The square shaped item was bascially an interview with Slash and Izzy talking over three tracks from Appetite for Destruction. Today, CDs are often produced when a big band produces an album so that radio stations can play the pre-recorded interviews, sanctioned by the recod companies. However this was scarcer in 1987 and given that this item was also a flexi disc (that now almost extinct format of vinyl) gives more credance to its scarcity. Expect not to get much change out of £1,000".

It's really a pretty cool item. It's paper thin (as I have tried to show in the photos) but amazingly these things play just like a normal vinyl record.
