Description
This is for a copy of an original version of Guns 'n Roses "Lies" LP. This has the banned inner sleeve and I bought it the day it came out. Geffen GHS 24198
Appetite is GHS 24148.
AS A BONUS, THERE IS AN ORIGINAL COPY OF "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION" included in this. You are basically buying this for the cover, as the vinyl is in horrible shape. An ex-roommate got mad at another roommate for playing this album too loud and poured a glass of water on it. You can maybe salvage it by cleaning it, but I cannot sell this on it's own in good conscious.
The cover of Lies is in EX- shape. Could use some cleaning, but for an album that is almost 30 years old, it's in great shape.
The cover of Appetite is in VG+ shape. Some dents and folds in it, but overall, it looks good.
Inner sleeve of Lies is also EX- shape. Not perfect (that would be Mint) and not slightly less than perfect (that would be NM), and not "Excellent". There are some flaws here and there, but nothing outstanding.
Inner sleeve of Appetite is in VG-/VG shape. Some stains, it's splitting at some seams. Again, this is a bonus.
Vinyl of Lies is in VG/EX shape. Maybe EX-. Could use a cleaning.
Vinyl of Appetite is in G-/G shape. Again, the reason this is a BONUS is because I can't sell this in good conscious. It has been played many times and has water damage. I cleaned much of it off and you can maybe do a better job of cleaning it, but don't get your hopes up.

NOTE: I ship Priority for YOU for 3 reasons. 1) it gets to you faster, 2) provides tracking, and 3) provides insurance. In the event that the value of the item gets to be over $50, I provide the extra insurance. Do not ask me to ship media. Especially after the auction is over.
Keep a lookout on other vinyl auctions I have and will have. Purging my collection of vinyl that I haven't listened to in years in order to make room for more (and to pay some unexpected bills). Lots of underground metal and punk items.
Do not expect me to violate eBay rules by having me ship to a different address than what is verified on the paypal. Prompt payment is appreciated.
Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
