Description

This album is sold as seen.

Classic album from Guns N' Roses - "Appetite For Destruction" which is in orange coloured vinyl format. Interesting artwork to the front cover of which I believe caused some controversy on release?

Presented on the Geffen recording label Catalogue number (on the label) is GHS 24148, the UK issue (on the rear sleeve) is WX 125 Stereo and on the spine it is UK:WX 125 924 148 -1

Manufactured in Germany

This edition was released in 1987.

The Outer Sleeve:

Remains in a very good +, clean condition bearing only minimal signs of ageing -  the corners, sides and spine are all well preserved for its age with no rips, tears or writing. Please see photo's

The inner sleeve is a factory pressed good quality white paper based insert and is in good clean condition.

The Vinyl:

Presents on both sides with a  good+ glossy sheene.

Side One (G):

A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals one or two surface marks that are  lightly based in character. Additionally, there is also two minor blemish marks- again I believe to be factory based in the vinyl where the colouring process has not taken well.(this does not concern me), there is also a small, visible pock mark on track 3 of which appears to again be factory based. I have played  side one and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of a  good quality. There is a minor aspect of skipping on track 3 as a result of the presence of the mark I have detailed - this is exceptionally short in duration. Having listened to side 1 and  with any vinyl  - even new, one can detect the occasional crack and pip consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust in particular in between tracks and on quitter sections of music - this can of course vary from one turn table to another depending upon the newness and quality of the stylus.

Side Two (R):

A  further close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two again reveals one or two very lightly based in character surface scratches - most noteworthy across tracks 3 to 6. Additionally, there is also a minor blemish mark- again I believe to be factory based in the vinyl where the colouring process has not taken well. I have played this side as well and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of a very good quality. Again, having listened to side 2 , one can detect the occasional crack and pip consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust in particular in between tracks and on quitter sections of music - evident in particular on intro's and play off's.There is no sticking or jumping on my equipment throughout side two notwithstanding the marks I have mentioned

The labels are both in clean order.
