Description
For sale... Appetite for Destruction, 12" black vinyl LP by Guns N' Roses. I bought this in August 1987. It is the original first release of the album featuring the banned cover with artwork by Robert Williams. Later pressings featuring the same front cover had slight differences to the back cover, noticeably moving the positioning of the Axl Rose info to an area higher up the page over his leg. This original 1st issue shows all the band info on the same level along the bottom of the page.
The cover is unfaded and in good condition with minimal creasing to edges. The inner sleeve is in good condition overall but shows the shape of vinyl and approximately 2" has come unglued from the top right corner (as viewed from the lyrics side). The bottom of the inner sleeve has a wear-hole from the vinyl (as shown in image 10). The vinyl has not been played for at least 20 years but was fine then. Stored in a box with other albums since. It looks clean with minor surface marks.
Please do thoroughly inspect the photographs and read the condition description to be sure of your purchase before buying. I have uploaded large images taken under natural bright lighting to show the cosmetic condition authentically.
Package will be well protected for delivery. Please note that someone may need to be at the delivery address to take the package when it arrives as all services require a signature on delivery.
