Description
Guns N Roses Appetite For Destruction Withdrawn Cover Vinyl Album 1987. Geffen Records Cat No 924 148-1. Run Out Matrix R/S Alsdorf 924148-1- A & R/S Alsdorf 924148-1-B . I would describe the vinyl as very good, just a few light marks when viewed in direct sunlight, plays fine no skips/jumps etc. The outer sleeve is also very good, just a little edge wear in places nothing major, the inner picture/lyric sleeve is also in great shape, no splits etc..The album's original cover art, based on Robert Williams' painting "Appetite for Destruction", depicted a robotic rapist about to be punished by a metal avenger. After several music retailers refused to stock the album, the label compromised and put the controversial cover art inside, replacing it with an image depicting a cross and skulls of the five band members (designed by Billy White Jr., originally as a tattoo), each skull representing one member of the band. I will combine postage to keep costs as low as possible, any questions please ask.
