Description

**Guns N' Roses – Appetite for Destruction (1987 US First Pressing)**

Up for sale is a rare, true 1987 original US pressing of Guns N' Roses' legendary debut album, *Appetite for Destruction*. This is a certified first-run audiophile pressing featuring Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) and the stamped Sterling Sound matrix codes in the dead wax.

**Matrix / Runout Identifiers:**
* Side R: GHS 24148 B DMM SR1
STERLING
* Side G: GHS 24148 A-SRI DMM SPI-I
STERLING

**Condition Details:**

* **Vinyl Disc:** Very Good (VG). The record retains a beautiful, high-gloss shine. There are some light superficial scuffs and hairline scratches visible under light, but absolutely none of them can be felt with a fingernail. It should play through wonderfully with minimal distraction.

* **Album Jacket:** Very Good Plus (VG+). The jacket is in great structural condition with slight wear on the edges and a strong spine. Shows some light, honest vintage shelf wear consistent with its age, but looks fantastic on display. (Please see photos for exact condition details).

* **Inner Sleeve:** Includes the original illustrated inner lyric sleeve. Note that the inner sleeve has a seam split along the bottom edge, which is very common for original copies of this release.
