Description
Here's a beautiful GNR item. It's the original, US pressing of Appetite For Destruction with the banned Robert Wilson cover. And it's a promo copy -- with stamp on front cover.
I received this from Geffen upon its release (I was working in radio) and immediately put it in a mylar bag. It's been there for twenty-eight years (in a non-smoking home). I played the LP once or twice...and I just checked it with a high-quality Ortofon cartridge and it sounds immaculate.
The disc is in perfect shape. The cover is in near-perfect shape. A tiny bit of wear on the spine -- about an inch-- but no split. Otherwise, glossy and tight and really beautful.
The original inner sleeve is in excellent shape. There is a small split at the bottom (in the usual spot) -- but it's minor. Aside from that, shiny and crease-free.
I've loved having this -- but I'm trying to pare down at this point in my life, so it's time for another GNR fan to have this.
Will be carefully packaged and shipped via USPS. Good luck!
