“WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE”

The album opens with the explosive “Welcome To The Jungle.”

The combination of Axl Rose's distinctive vocals, Slash's guitar and the band's raw rhythm section immediately established Guns N' Roses as something different from much of the polished rock dominating the late 1980s.

It remains one of the band's defining songs.

“SWEET CHILD O' MINE”

The unforgettable “Sweet Child O' Mine” became Guns N' Roses' signature ballad and their first US No. 1 single.

Slash's instantly recognisable opening guitar riff is one of the most famous in rock music, while Axl Rose's vocal performance gives the song its emotional impact.

“PARADISE CITY”

“Paradise City” showcases the band's ability to combine melodic songwriting with their harder-edged rock sound.

The track builds from its memorable opening into a powerful, fast-paced finale and became one of the band's most popular live songs.

THE CLASSIC LINE-UP

The album features the classic Guns N' Roses lineup:

• Axl Rose – lead vocals

• Slash – lead guitar

• Izzy Stradlin – rhythm guitar

• Duff McKagan – bass

• Steven Adler – drums

Together they created a raw, energetic sound that revitalised mainstream hard rock.
