Description
Brand new and factory sealed Gunn-Truscinski Duo "Soundkeeper" silver colored vinyl double LP on Three Lobed Recordings from their subscription 20th Anniversary Series. Vinyl is silver colored to commemorate Three Lobed Recordings silver anniversary and was only available to subscribers of their silver anniversary bundle of releases. I cannot verify this physically as the LP is still factory sealed, however I am a subscriber of this series and have no use for the vinyl. The first run of these unfortunately pressed a defect into LP #2. Some subscribers had the defect and others did not. I have no idea if the second LP is defective in this copy as it is still factory sealed, however Three Lobed sent replacement copies of LP #2 to all subscribers (included see photos 3 through 6). There is also a digital download code inside.
"Soundkeeper" is the fourth album from the Gunn-Truscinski Duo and the first double album. It was recorded between 2018 and early 2020 in Brooklyn and Western Massachusetts. It is pressed on two 140 gram 12" records in Virginia by Furnace and housed within a full color gatefold jacket bearing new photography by John Truscinski, Steve Gunn and Michael Slaboch. As a part of the Three Lobed Recordings 20th Anniversary series it features an OBI strip bearing an essay about the LP by Aquarium Drunkard's Tyler Wilcox.
