GUESS WHO - IT'S TIME

1966 Quality Records V1788

COVER GRADES EXCELLENT:  The album jacket still retains its original shrink wrap (snug), although there is very slight soiling from years of storage; notably on the seams of the cello and the top right hand corner.  There is also a 3/4 " inch separation of the cello on the same right hand corner (see photo).  The cover slick is slightly frayed along the open edge of the jacket, but otherwise the colour graphics on the face of the album appear brilliant underneath the shrink, and the white border is clean!  The backside of the cover appears to be a little grey on account of the soiling accrued on the shrink itself from years of storage.  If you were to remove the wrap, the white would most certainly reveal its brilliance, with the exception of the outer edge that has been exposed from the broken seal.  Delete hole just above Gary Peterson's head.  Top and Bottom left corners reveal ever so slight wear, while the top and bottom right hand corners are exposed as the shrink has "pulled" back slightly.  Spine and top and bottom seams are solid!  No writing, tears or marks otherwise.  An exceptional cover indeed!

RECORD GRADES EXCELLENT:  I personally don't know what a VG++ is, so suffice to note this disc is not NM either.  Disc retains most of its original gloss!  Some minor needle marks - presumably from someone "lifting" the needle off the record while playing.  Superficial surface marks from re-sleeving.

This particular copy was of a very limited pressing, as I've confirmed after having spoken with some other collectors.  The label is different from any copy I've ever seen of this Lp.  Instead of the traditional blue label, this copy was pressed with a rather unique "maroon/wine" colored design.   There are some slight spindle marks on both sides, but nothing too conspicuous.

Please note there is NO delete hole on the record itself, although one does exist on the cover.  I have owned this record as is for 20 years, and purchased as is.  My best guess is the previous owner "swapped" discs - possibly to match up the better copy with the album jacket.

I honestly don't remember ever playing this record, and since I've not owned a turntable for some years now, I am unable to "play" test the disc.  The descriptions I've given are honest, and I've tried to detail as much as possible for the benefit of the customer.

The starting bid reflects the true rarity of this item. Given that I've seen 2 previous copies sell between $300-$800 in the last year I believe mine to be a reasonable one.

Upon receipt of the record should you be dissatisfied with just reason, I will happily refund your payment in full minus the costs of packaging and postage.

I take exceptional care (see my feedback) to properly package your merchandise for shipping and have sold to customers as far away as Tokyo with no problems whatsoever.  I also seperate the album jacket and the disc to avoid any "piercing" of the jacket while the package is in transit.
