Grading Standards (78 RPM)

N : As new and unplayed ( I probably will never use this grade)

N- : Nearly mint, But has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage

E+ : Plays like new with few signs of wear

E : Still very shiny, with a few scuffs and scratches

V+ : Average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Surface noise is not overly pronounced

V : Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

V- : Quite playable still, But distortion and heavy graying in loud passages. Surface noise and scratches below music level.

G : Record is worn and scratched, But music level is higher than surface noise

F : Most of music remains audible over surface noise, But listening now uncomfortable.

P : Unplayable. I won't list this grade unless record is rare and hard to find

I am not a record expert and I try to grade records to the best of my ability using the Goldmine price guide's standards and VJM's grading system on 78's but my opinion of condition may differ from someone else's opinion. Since I list so many records I cannot play them all so grading is visual but you may buy with confidence because I offer a complete refund if the record is not as described in my listing.
