The 100 Greatest Recordings Of All Time!!  Complete 100 LP Collection!!  Franklin Mint Record Society!!

This set of used records is The 100 Greatest Recordings Of All Time.  This is an absolute must-have collection for any fan of classical music!  This set features 100 LP records full of, as the set's title suggests, 'the greatest recordings of all time'.  The collection was commissioned by the Franklin Mint Record Society, and each recording on the set has been chosen by a panel of music experts.

The collection is packaged in 50 hard-bound, book style cases that each house two records.  Both records in the cases are "proof-quality" records protected by a dust case.  Each of these cases includes an attached booklet discussing the composers, artists, and works featured on the records.  Included with the collection are cross-referencing indices for keeping track of the material on each record.

There is a wealth of classical material available in this collection:  works by Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, and many more composers are featured!  Artists performing the seminal pieces for this collection include Pablo Casal, the Boston Pops, Caruso, Giovanni Martinelli, and the New York Philharmonic.  The collection also features an overview booklet, and each volume is accompanied by a letter from by then-Mint director Stanley Walker.  (The letters for Volumes 5/6, 53/54, and 95/96 are not included.)

Some of the record cases show some wear or have damage to them, but most of them are in excellent condition.  All 100 of the records in this collection remain in unplayed, near-mint condition.  They are guaranteed to play perfectly.  Again, this is a chance to win an exceptional and rare collection of classical music!  This Franklin Mint collection offers some of the greatest pieces and finest performances recorded.
