For sale is a 4 LP Box set of Greatest 64 Motown Original Hits, originally released in 1975 on Motown Records, produced for Cimco, a mail order record company. I bought this box set used and immediately put the records in archival inner sleeves, then it was put it away into a record storage box where it was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity. The cover is graded as Poor because of a split corner, corner blunts, edge rubs, a missing 4 inch piece of cardboard that makes up one side of the top cover and on the bottom cover there is also missing pieces of cardboard on one whole side, about 6 to 8 inches. The spine has color loss at the corners from blunts. The records are visually graded between Excellent and Near Mint Minus because of smudges, sleeve marks and very small fine-line surface scratches. In the dead wax, between the labels and the last tracks, are zig-zag etching ending in a "K", indicating that these records were mastered by Randy King. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I have more R&B and Soul albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
