VG to EX+ VISUAL GRADE between the 6 sides. NEAR MINT PLAY GRADE throughout all 6 sides. Full Gloss, extremely Clean Vinyl throughout all sides, plays absolutely beautifully (Quiet Grooves, Noise-Free, Distortion-Free, Clear, Bold, Full sound. PLAY GRADED all 6 Sides. Amazing QUIEX II Vinyl delivering pure, pristine, unblemished sound reproduction - even though VISUALLY there are numerous light surface lines and small scuffs through sides 1 - 4. They are all non-feelable and all inaudible. Sides 5 and 6 have only a very few faintest surface marks, viewed under hard bright light. Yet all 6 sides play Near Mint. 
Will you find a stray tic or small spot of soft crackle? Maybe, depending on your equipment, but I doubt it. I found it to be one of the absolutely cleanest listens of any Vinyl in my over 50 years of vinyl collecting. NO tics. NO crackle. NO groove noise whatsoever.
Disc-by-Disc Visual Grade under bright hard light is Side 1: VG, Side 2: VG, Side 3: VG+, Side 4: VG-, Side 5: EX, Side 6: EX+. Labels are Pristine all 6 sides Disc-by-Disc Audio Playback Grade Side 1: NM, Side 2: NM, Side 3: NM, Side 4: NM, Side 5: NM, Side 6: NM.
BOTTOM LINE: Numerous scattered non-feelable surface marks (mostly sides one through four). You can See them but you can't Hear them. .
COVER is VG+
Clean, solid, unfaded, tri-fold Gatefold Cover, with no writing, soil or age-spots. Light, mild wear to the black background and a few soft edge creases, a few small indents and a creased (still sharp) u.l. front corner. All corners sharp, all edges straight. Seams and spines completely intact with no splits. Spine Titles are crisp, sharp and 100% legible.

A Sonic Masterpiece and energetic Tour d' Force 3 LPs of live Dead! Over two hours of historic performances recorded October 1989-April 1990.

*WITHOUT A NET was originally issued primarily on CD, as a 2CD set. This original 1990 USA VINYL release was pressed in very small numbers, as a Limited Edition, Direct Metal Master on 'secret' QUIEX II Translucent Vinyl, and did not appear at all again on vinyl until a 2023 reissue by Rhino.
The SOUND QUALITY of this Original 1990 First Pressing remains unmatched.
There were apparently 2 contemporaneous pressings made at that time.  THIS ONE has 3 lines of text at left side of each label (9 o'clock position). the other pressing is distinguished by the text broken into 4 lines at that spot.  ...I have no idea if that one is on QUIEX II Vinyl, but THIS ONE CERTAINLY IS. Its Translucent (see-through) Vinyl glows gorgeously in front of the lamp.

In the Summer of 1989, word was out that The Grateful Dead were recording their summer tour for an upcoming live album. Then, word was out that they were also recording the magnificent Fall Tour, and then the equally great Spring Tour of 1990. 

Just before the Dead split for Europe in the Fall of 1990, they surprised the GD faithful with the release of the long-awaited live album - a deluxe 3LP set - showing off their late-Brent era excellence.
Mixed from the 24-track analog master tapes, to a wondrous Digital Metal Master (DMM) by Masterdisk, the album is a sonic wonder, filled with some of the best material played by the Dead on the last tours featuring Brent Mydland, who would pass away before the album was completed.

Included on the album is a beautiful rendition of “Dear Mr. Fantasy”, a late addition to the track list, as a tribute to Brent, to whom the album is dedicated. Also of note is the famous "Eyes Of The World" from Nassau Coliseum with Branford Marsalis, a ripping "China Cat Sunflower”, "I Know You Rider" and classic first set material from the era, including "Althea”, "Cassidy”, and "Let It Grow”.
