Description
The Grateful Dead’s performance at Cornell University’s Barton Hall on May 8, 1977 has long been acknowledged as one of the group’s most compelling live shows. In fact, this performance was “deemed so important to the history and culture of the United States” that it was added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry in 2011. Dead Heads have been exchanging unauthorized tapes of the show for years. Now, the entire set has been officially released in a deluxe 5LP box set, sourced from the Betty Cantor-Jackson soundboard recordings.
