Description

I'm a part-time record collector selling off a few items to fund some new purchases. While I only occasionally sell records on eBay, I buy records often so I know the Goldmine grading standards very well and I really try to avoid the bad habits of sellers that annoy buyers like me and many of you (careless grading, packing materials that don't protect the records, etc.)
For sale here I have a barely played numbered copy of "Matador" by Grant Green, reissued by Music Matters in 2010 in a 2LP, 45rpm set (#310). I bought this new and played it a handful of times using my VMN40ML cartridge. This is a fantastic Grant Green record with the always stellar pairing of McCoy Tyner and Elvin Jones, and is one of MMJ's more hard to find releases. The only reason I'm selling is that I have a lot of Grant Green and there are a couple other expensive records I want to get.

I'm grading both the vinyl and jacket as VG+ out of an extreme abundance of caution, but these are virtually near mint. I think most sellers would call this near mint without a question, but I am going out of my way to make sure you know what you are getting.

For the vinyl, the only flaw I can see is a very slight inaudible hazing from those pink inner sleeves that MMJ used to use from RTI (I quickly swapped those out with poly-lined sleeves as pictured) and the label from one of the records is not perfect as it slightly punched through the paper and left a mark on the spindle hole (as you can see in the last picture). I do not hear any flaws from playing, and both records are very clean and flat.

For the jacket, there is a very slight ding to the top and a small black mark on the back. There are no splits and the corners are sharp. Again, VG+ is a very conservative grade here.

I do not trust media mail or flimsy white mailers, so I ONLY ship via FedEx using extra thick Acoustic Sounds record boxes with extra cardboard reinforcement and bubble wrap. I charge $7 for shipping, which means I am under-charging, but I would rather do that than have a record like this damaged during shipping.

Shipping is to the Continental United States ONLY (sorry, no international shipping).
