Description
The Seller was an eye witness to the sad saga of this incredibly talented artist's rapid downfall. It was painfully obvious to anyone who saw him on and off the stage. The bizarre story of his road manager, Phil Kauffman, stealing the body and driving it up to Joshua Tree in a hearse was recently made into a movie. As they say, you really can't make this stuff up.
- A White Label Promo First Pressing on the Reprise steamboat label.
- The matrix ends in 1-A.
- The Gate Fold cover has tight seams and spine. The only wear is a tiny corner bump bottom right front.
- Inner sleeve is the WB Loss Leaders.
- Seller got this new from WB just prior to initial release in 1973. It has been in storage since then.
