Grachan Moncur "Evolution" original LP, Blue Note # 4153, mono, New York USA pressing
This auction is for an original copy of the rare Blue Note jazz album "Evolution" by Grachan Moncur. Sesssion features Jackie McLean, Lee Morgan, Bobby Hutcherson, Bob Crenshaw, and Anthony Williams. Record has the "New York USA" address on Blue Note label with "VAN GELDER" and the "ear" stamped in the dead wax. Album is an original and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from original owner. Vinyl is VG++ (very close to NM)with one very light scuff noticeable only under a bright light that does not sound out on side 1 with lots of shine and gloss. Jacket is also VG+ with some light wear on corners and a very small 1/2 inch beginning of a split on lower right entry. Please see photo below. A very nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
Record grading: M/NM/VG/G/P ( I never grade anything mint unless it is sealed or unplayed)
